Persian style chicken patties recipe!


Everyone needs a good chicken patties recipe!

Such patties that can be prepared quickly and taste wonderful.

This recipe for chicken patties inspired by my grandma's, which my mother also makes from time to time.

I like to put them in a sandwich with tehini, onions and pickles or cook it in a lemon sauce. Either way it's delicious!

It's not exactly mom's or grandma's recipe but it's pretty much the same ingredients.

Ground chicken with lots of green herbs that I grind in a blender with onions and garlic.

You can use any herbs you have at home or whatever you like, I put parsley and cilantro. The addition of a little dill is also really appropriate here.

And as I always like to say...take the recipe as an idea, change it to suit your taste and get creative!


Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of ground chicken

  • Half a bunch of coriander

  • Half a bunch of parsley

  • 4 tablespoons chickpea flour

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 small onion

  • 4 cloves of garlic

  • Half a teaspoon of cumin

  • Teaspoon and a half of salt

  • Half a teaspoon of black pepper


Prep:

  • In a blender, grind the green hrebs with the onion, garlic and olive oil.

  • Mix the puree formed with all the other ingredients into a dough.

  • If the dough is too wet, you can add another teaspoon of chickpea flour, and if it is too dry, you can add a drop of water.

  • Allow the patty mixture to rest for half an hour.

  • Heat a little oil in a pan, form flat round patties and fry on each side until golden.
